Refund Policy

When and how refunds are issued for bookings on Koladr.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work alongside each trip's individual cancellation policy. The trip's cancellation policy, shown on the trip page and at checkout, determines the refundable amount; this policy explains the process.

1. Eligibility

  • Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation policy of the specific trip and how far in advance you cancel.
  • If a host cancels a trip, or if a trip is cancelled by the Platform for safety or compliance reasons, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid.
  • Platform service fees may be non-refundable except where a trip is cancelled by the host or the Platform.

2. How to request a refund

Request a refund from your booking page or by contacting support. Each request is logged with a status of requested, approved, rejected, or processed, and you will be notified of updates.

3. Processing

  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment processor.
  • Refunds typically settle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or mobile money provider.
  • Partial refunds may apply where the cancellation policy allows a partial amount.

4. Disputes

If you believe a trip materially differed from its description, or a safety issue occurred, contact safety@koladr.com. We review disputes case by case and may withhold host payouts pending resolution.
