Welcome to Koladr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Koladr website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, booking a trip, or hosting a trip, you agree to these Terms.
Koladr is a marketplace. Except where a trip is explicitly labelled "Platform-curated", trips are created, operated, and delivered by independent verified hosts and licensed tour operators. Koladr facilitates discovery, booking, payment, and communication, but is not the travel provider and does not itself operate the trips.
1. Who we are
The Platform is operated by Koladr (operated by Koladr Technologies Ltd.). We connect travelers, diaspora visitors, and locals with verified hosts and licensed tour operators offering small-group experiences in Ghana and, over time, other destinations.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to book or host a trip, or be accompanied by a responsible adult who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide a valid emergency contact before your participation in a trip is confirmed.
3. The marketplace relationship
Hosts are independent businesses or individuals. When you book, you enter into a direct contract with the host for the delivery of that trip. The host is responsible for the safety, quality, licensing, and lawful operation of their trip.
Koladr screens and verifies hosts before they can publish, and reviews trips before they go live, but verification is not a guarantee of outcome. You are responsible for assessing whether a trip is suitable for you.
4. Bookings and payments
- Prices are shown in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated, and may include a platform service fee.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners (e.g. Paystack). Your seat is confirmed only after payment is verified on our servers.
- A booking creates a binding agreement subject to the trip's cancellation policy and our Refund Policy.
5. Conduct
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, treat hosts and fellow travelers with respect, and comply with all applicable Ghanaian laws. We may suspend or remove accounts that put others at risk or abuse the Platform.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koladr is not liable for the acts or omissions of hosts or travelers, or for losses arising from participation in a trip. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.
You participate in trips at your own risk and are strongly encouraged to hold appropriate travel and medical insurance.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions can be sent to support@koladr.com.
